Viewers and Media Players

If you are unable to open a file found on our website, click on the icon for the appropriate application below. Follow the instructions on the application developer's web site to download and install the application.

Adobe PDF (Portable Document Format) - Files with a .PDF extension can be edited with Adobe Acrobat. If you don't have Acrobat, you can download the free Adobe Reader.

Microsoft Word - Files with a .DOC extension require the Word component of the Microsoft Office suite. If you don't have Word, you can download the free Microsoft Word Viewer.

Microsoft Excel - Files with an .XLS extension (speadsheets) require the Excel component of the Microsoft Office suite. If you don't have Excel, you can download the free Microsoft Excel Viewer. You will be able to view the spreadsheets, but the formulas will not work.

Microsoft PowerPoint - Files with a .PPT or .PPS extension require the PowerPoint component of the Microsoft Office suite. If you don't have PowerPoint, you can download the free Microsoft PowerPoint Viewer.

Apple QuickTime - Files with a .MOV extension require the free QuickTime Player. QuickTime is also compatible with many other audio and video file formats.

Microsoft Windows Media Player - Files with a .WMV, .WMA, or .AVI extension were designed for the free Windows Media Player. Windows Media Player is also compatible with many other audio and video file formats.

Real Networks RealPlayer - Files with an .RA, .RM, .RAM, or .RV extension require the free RealPlayer. RealPlayer is also compatible with many other audio and video file formats.
