Angel's Nest Playschool
Angel's Nest Playschool is offered at PSFUMC Monday through Friday from 9am to 2 pm. It is available for children ages 1 through 4. The playschool follows the Cobb county school calendar for holidays and inclement weather.
Playschool is a ministry designed to aide and assist. We try to provide a short period of love and family ways with some creative activities for the child whose parent, grandparent or sitter needs a break or help. The child will use imaginative play with the many toys provided in the rooms, put a puzzle together, learn to take turns and walk in a straight line, count, sing and pray with others, color pictures, have books read to them and much more. Weather permitting, we are on the playground after morning snack and lunch.
Registration for 2007-2008 weekday program begins March 2007.

Mission of our Ministry
The Angel's Nest Playschool is a ministry designed for young children and their caregivers. Our goal is to provide a happy, loving Christian environment where young children can play with other children while their caregivers can have some time to themselves. We encourage imaginative play with the many different types of toys provided in the playrooms. Your child will also enjoy such activities as crafts, puzzles, books, music, Bible stories and videos. In addition, your children will receive physical exercise on our indoor and outdoor playgrounds.
Age Requirements
We serve children from the age of 1 year old (walkers only) up to 4 years old. Until the age of 2, the child can attend from 9 AM until 1 PM. Upon turning 2, the child can stay until 2 PM.
Fees
A non-refundable registration fee of $60 for full day or $30 for the lunch program, is due at registration. If enrolling your child after February 1, 2008 a $30 non-refundable registration fee for full day or $15 for the lunch program will be charged. If enrolling more than one child a $10 discount will be given.

All checks are to be made payable to ANP (Angel's Nest Playschool). If your child will be attending more than one day a week, you may pay weekly; otherwise, payment is expected on the attending day. You may pay in advance. Payment is not required for your child if they are unable to attend on their assigned day; however, we ask that you contact the Director if your child will not be coming for an extended period of time. We staff each day according to the number of children assigned to be attend. If a child has missed several scheduled times and we have not been advised, we will fill that spot with another child and you will lose your day. There are occasions when you may need to utilize our program on unscheduled days. You may contact the Director to inquire if a spot is unavailable.
Illness
Children should not attend the program if they have or have had within the last 24 hours: a temperature of 100.4, diarrhea, vomiting or unexplained rash. If a child has a persistent cough or any other of the above symptoms, please do not bring your child to ANP. If a child shows any of these symptoms during the day, we will call the caregiver and have them come to pick up their child.
Immunizations
The State Division of Public Health requires us to keep a copy of your child's up-to-date immunization record on file each school year. This form must be turned into us on or before the first day the ANP school year. You can obtain a Georgia Immunization Certificate from your pediatrician or your local health department.
Late Pick-Up Policy
Please be on time to pick up your child. A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged after 2:10PM. If a caregiver is late in an excessive manner, the Director will assess the child's continued participation in the ANP program.
ANP Teachers
Three adult teachers will be in the playroom to care for your child. Our teachers are carefully screened and are a true blessing to our ministry.
What To Bring
Angel's Nest Playschool provides a morning snack and drink each day. You will need to provide a lunch that your child can easily eat by themselves, a diaper bag or backpack with a change of clothing (appropriate to the season), extra diapers or pull-ups, wipes and a sippy-cup if needed. Please label everything! We ask that your child not bring toys from home or breakfast that has not been finished.
Calendar
We follow the Cobb County School calendar on Holidays and inclement weather. The first day of school is August 13, 2007 and the last day of school is May 23, 2008.
