The goals of this portion of the sports ministry are first to use the teams as a path to invite people into our Church and second to provide a vehicle for Christian fellowship amongst our members and guests. If we win a game here and there, we'll take that too! We field two teams to better facilitate our goals. We'll mix and match our rosters throughout the season so there is usually alot of flexibility in game times. Most importantly there is always room to invite those people that may want to be reached out to. It's alot of fun and good exercise to boot!
We also want to facilitate as much playing time for everyone as they would reasonably want. In order to equitably accommodate everyone, it is extremely important that everyone be flexible in what positions that they play. We realize that there are physical and skill requirements for each position that don't suit everyone. For that reason, please list three positions below in order of your preference. This will allow the coaches to accommodate everyone as much as possible and to fairly divide the teams.
Everyone is welcome to play in games or practice or both, it is never too late to join!
