Annual Events and Areas of Service

A Servant Leader is committed to personal growth in 3 areas:

Friends

Many men in our church and community need and want a few true friends-men who will go with you through life's gauntlet celebrating victory, sharing grief, and standing with you in good times and bad. Godly men are shaped and tempered by other godly men. Every United Methodist Man deserves a few bonded brothers.

Followers

When a Christian becomes a follower of Christ, Jesus has become their Savior and Lord. The spiritual growth of men is our top priority. United Methodist Men will flourish as every man becomes committed personally to daily prayer, bible study, accountable relationships, and is actively seeking God's will in their life.

Fishermen

When godly men are bonded in biblical friendship, building themselves spiritually together, they become fit and equipped for Kingdom work and service. Followers of Christ are always involved in meaningful work - in their families and local congregations, and through workplace witness, service work, missions, and outreach.

Our United Methodist Men's Club has an opportunity and an obligation to make a major impact on the men in our church. The mission of UMMen is to help men know Jesus Christ, serve Him, grow spiritually, and seek daily to do His will.

UMMen is in the business of awakening, inspiring, challenging, supporting, training, and equipping men as they become more Christ-like in their daily lives.

Our highest priority is to build and promote the spiritual growth of men. We call our men to become servant leaders, as this emulates the model life shown to us by our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

There is a fresh wind of spiritual renewal and a window of opportunity to reach out to men today. The time is NOW to call all men to a personal and vital relationship with Christ.

Ask a man to extend his hand so that you can reach his heart. If you believe that we are headed in the right direction, with a sense of mission and purpose, we extend our hand to you - PLEASE JOIN US!
